Parish President Guy McInnis stated, “this project is part of a parish-wide effort to remove debris and trash on parish highways and canals.” The clean-up project was coordinated by Parish President Guy McInnis, Sheriff James Pohlmann, and Road Manager Louis Pomes. Parish Government workers and Sheriff’s Office trustees cleaned the parish right-of-ways on the east and west sides of Paris Road. The project included trash and debris removal, grass cutting, tree trimming, and street sweeping. Crews also cleaned ditches and drainage canal along the thoroughfare.
“I am happy to partner with President McInnis and his staff to beautify a major entrance to our parish,” said Sheriff James Pohlmann. President McInnis would like to encourage business owners and residents to continue taking pride in the community by helping keep our Parish clean. Photos by Lenor Duplessis
