Our Mission

Prevention, Treatment, Recovery, and Enforcement Strategies 

St. Bernard Taskforce Opioid Program (S.T.O.P.)  is dedicated to combat the opioid epidemic in our community. Our mission is to implement comprehensive multi-sector response with approaches that include prevention education, treatment, recovery and enforcement strategies. Together, we can fight against opioid addiction and remove the stigma surrounding the disease of addiction making our community a better place. 

Prevention Education - We provide education and awareness programs to prevent opioid addiction and overdose.  

Collaboration - We collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies to provide a comprehensive response to the opioid epidemic.  

Community Outreach - We engage with the community to raise awareness and promote action against the opioid epidemic. 

Treatment - We offer a variety of treatment options to help people overcome opioid addiction. 

Recovery - We provide support and resources to help people in recovery from opioid addiction. 

Enforcement Strategies - We work with law enforcement and the legal system to provide resources to those in need.
