St. Bernard Parish Government Offices closed in Observance of Independence Day

St. Bernard Salutes America Celebration July 4th from 4:30 to 10:00 p.m.

All non-emergency offices of St. Bernard Parish Government will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 in observance of Independence Day. Offices will resume normal business hours on Wednesday, July 5, 2017.

The public is invited to attend the 33rd Annual St. Bernard Salutes America Celebration on the grounds of the Sigur Civic Center from 4:30 to 10:00 p.m. Admission is free.

Entertainment for the event will include live music by Jason Dorcey from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m., Cypress Pop Trio from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. and Karma from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. There will be fun for all ages with Face Painting, a Trackless Train, a Magic Show, a Juggling Act and a spectacular fireworks show at 9:15 p.m.

Come out, enjoy the fun, and support our local vendors who will be offering a wide variety of food, drinks and more.
