Trash Bash fills four truck loads

Volunteers worked in Shell Beach, Yscloskey and Hopedale to assist with litter removal from the banks of the waterways. Over 60 yards of trash was picked up and loaded onto 4 trash trucks. Parish President Guy McInnis thanks all of the volunteers and those who provided vessels for the clean-up.

The next Trash Bash will be held on Saturday, June 9th in Delacroix. Interested persons should report to the Delacroix Pier at 5565 Delacroix Highway, St. Bernard. Volunteers should wear appropriate clothing and bring scoop nets, rakes, buckets and bags. For more information please contact John Lane at 504-579-2173.
