St. Bernard Parish Parks and Recreation / Leisure Program is hosting a Cocktails and Costume Adult Dance on
Friday, October 21st from 9 p.m. to 12:00 Midnight at the
Val Riess Sports Complex, 1101 Magistrate St. Chalmette

The cost to enter is only $15.00 there will be some Parade of Prizes and Trick or Treat Glasses for Sale at a Price of $25.00 or less - If you get a Trick Glass you will get your fortune and a $5.00 gift card to a local vendor, if you should get the Treat Glass you will get your fortune and a Gift Card worth $25.00 or more. So don’t get Tricked!!

There will be a Costume Contest, so costumes are strongly encouraged, 50/50, DJ, Cash Bar with some Wickedly Specialty Drinks. You are allowed to bring in your own food. (No outside alcohol or ice chest allowed).

This fundraiser will benefit the upcoming Trunk or Treat in October and Breakfast with Santa happening in December.

So gather your friends, dress up in your best costume as this is sure to be a scary good fun time!!

Local Flair located at 1515 E. Judge Perez Dr., Chalmette

St. Bernard Parish Recreation Department Kicks off the 2016 Fall Season in Sports

St. Bernard Parish Recreation Department officially kicked off its 2016 Fall Season with Football, Flag Football and Volleyball Games. The department saw an increase in the number of players. The total kids registered for fall sports are 389.

The Season began September 21st and will run through October 22nd with playoffs the week of October 24th. There are 312 players divided into 18 teams for football and 88 players divided into 10 teams for flag football. Volleyball Season is also in full swing with 77 players divided into 8 teams. The department also has a total of 55 cheerleaders and 12 dancers.
