delivered to any other St. Bernard Parish Government location or
other room number prior to the bid receipt deadline will not be
considered.
This project
consists of furnishing all supervision, labor, equipment, and
materials necessary to Implement
the selective demolition and repairs to the Munster Wastewater
Treatment Plant. This work includes the selective demolition of
the Primary Clarifier No. 1, Trickling Filters No. 1 and No. 2,
Sludge Drying Beds, Sludge Holding Area, MCC building,
Administration/Control Building, Generator Set, and associated
pumps, slabs, electrical, and yard piping.
Each bid must
be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond
acceptable to the Owner in the amount equal to at least five
percent (5%) of the total amount bid and payable without
condition to the Owner as a guarantee that the bidder, if
awarded the contract, will promptly execute a contract in
accordance with all terms and conditions of the Contract
Documents.
A Mandatory
Pre-Bid Conference will be held on
Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at
10:00 am, at the at the
Water and Sewer Board Room (St. Bernard Parish Water Treatment
Plant) at the Department of Public Works, 1111 East St. Bernard
