ST. BERNARD PRESIDENT CRAIG TAFFARO ANNOUNCES
FOOTSTEPS TO GROWTH PROGRAM

Program to acknowledge good works to continue the parish’s forward progress

St. Bernard Parish Craig Taffaro has announced the Footsteps to Growth Program as a way to recognize the good works in our community and motivate others because the involvement of all organizations and citizens becoming active is critical to the recovery.

“Continuing our forward movement takes energy,” Taffaro said. “The Footsteps to Growth Program is not a cure-all and it will not erase the work left to be done, but in a small and consistent way, it will let people know about some of the good works that have been accomplished in our community and motivate others to get or stay involved.”

Recommendations can be made by completing a Footsteps to Growth Program form. Nominations forms are online the parish government website at www.sbpg.net or may be picked up at the Parish Council office, 8201 W. Judge Perez Drive in Chalmette. Return forms to lduplessis@sbpg.net or to the parish president’s office. Any citizen, civic organization, government employee, business, or non-profit official is eligible. The first round of recognition will be made at the first council meeting in July and then at the first council meeting of the month thereafter. A short reception for the recipients will be held prior to the meeting.
